  1. Its a shame some have to be told to be respectful of peoples private lives. I commend for your swift action in deleting the offensive comments.

  2. Very good. The crap that goes on sometimes in civic politics chases good people away from running.
Thanks for keeping this site focused on issues.

  3. Based on the tilt you provide in articles is it any shock that people thought negative personal attacks would be allowed?

  5. Why is Mr.Darren Hill exempt from following sign laws. He has posted 4 X 8 signs on several fence corners. He should be charged.

  6. Is this the best Carol and her campaign can come up with? She had to pull all of her signs that she put up outside city hospital for breaking city laws.

  8. I've heard about the sign issue. I would have thought that after Mr. Hill's debacle on removing signage during the last provincial election that he would have studied the bylaw he is entrusted to enforce. He continued to compound his bad judgment when he then cut the 4 x 8 in pieces and then re-set the signage. Clearly he thought he had found a loophole in the bylaw. This all goes back to judgment and character. Ward 1 voters will have to decide what kind of representation they want.

  9. Hill screwed up on removing illegal signs during the last election and should have reported the illegal signs to the city.

Ward 1 likely will go for Hill over Carol who has no experience. I hope at some point she would make it clear if she would represent the party she holds a membership in or her ward residents.

  10. The tactics of the left in this civic election in beyond my comprehension. For people that "represent"the small working man and family, but then orchestrate cat calls, calls down, abuses the microphone, slants the questions and refuses to allow comments from the other side and the forums, it is rude and low life.
Hill and Systun should be especially embarrassed about their position. I mean, did anyone ever ask Lenore how she got all the leaks on the Gathercole debacle< "Kelly"" her partner from inside City Hall leaked it. Or was Lenore ever asked to exlplain where close to $50,000 of Shakespeares money went, when she was the E. D.

  11. And count on the right wing nut jobs to complain about those who excercise their right to free speech and attempt to smear others.
