So far it appears that we are averaging one and a third murders a month in this city. Attempted robberies are getting second day service I'm told by an anonymous source.
On the bright side the traffic squad is busy filling the coffers.

Amen! How messed up are the priorities in our city right now when violent assaults and robberies are commonplace and the focus of our police force is the crackdown on cellphone users and speeders.
ReplyDeleteI get as crabby as the next guy at out of control drivers, but I'd be a lot happier if the cops were tagging these guys where they catch them rather than wasting the time of a half-dozen officers on enforcement traps.
